What is ticket touting?
- Ticket touting is the sale of tickets by unauthorised person for a designated football match or otherwise to dispose of such a ticket to another person.
What are the consequences of ticket touting?
- Any individuals that are found to have offered their ticket for sale will be subject to an internal investigation and in some cases, the matter will be reported to the Police for criminal prosecution.
How are Sunderland AFC combating ticket touting?
- Sunderland AFC can’t tackle this problem alone. Over the coming months we want to work more closely with the Premier League and other stakeholders to ensure that we are sharing intelligence and going even further where possible to tackle the touts.
