TRAIN: Sunderland Railway Station is the nearest mainline station and is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the Stadium of Light.

From Sunderland Railway Station, head towards Keel Square and follow the signs for the Keel Crossing. Cross the pedestrian bridge over the River Wear, then continue straight ahead along Legends' Way/Millennium Way. The Stadium of Light will be directly ahead. The walk takes approximately 10–15 minutes.
METRO: The Tyne and Wear Metro provides a convenient service to the Stadium of Light via Stadium of Light and St Peter's stations. Following the match, supporters travelling towards South Hylton should board at St Peter's, while those travelling towards Newcastle should use Stadium of Light station.
BUS: Frequent bus services operate to and from the Stadium of Light, including routes 3, 4, 13, 35, 35A and 56. Sunderland's main bus station at Park Lane Interchange is around a 15-minute walk from the stadium.
CAR: The Stadium of Light is easily accessible via the A19 and A1(M), following signs for the A1231 (Wessington Way). Supporters are advised to allow extra time for their journey as traffic around the stadium may be heavier than usual on matchday.
